SunnySpeed - Real-Time Stock API
This is a simple real-time stock API. The data is based on Yahoo Finance.
The following URL is everything!
The symbol has to be valid Yahoo Finance symbol.
The possible options are given at the following table.
| Option (o=) | Description |
| symbol | The Yahoo Finance Symbol for the given stock or market. |
| price | The current price for the given stock or the value of the given market. |
| closetime | The time and date of the last update for the values of a stock or market. (EST) |
| lastcloseprice | The last day price for the given stock or the value of the given market. |
| changepercent | The percentage variation of a stock or a market between the last day and the current value. |
| change | The variation of a stock or a market between the last day and the current value. |
| volume | The volume of a stock for the current day. No for markets. |
| dayhigh | The maximum value for the current day for a given stock or market. |
| daylow | The minimum value for the current day for a given stock or market. |
There are two ways you can use this URL.
1. Only give the stock symbol, and it will return all 9 options in one line, and separated by '|'.
For example:
http://www.sunnyspeed.com/stock/api/?s=GOOG
will return
GOOG|553.69|23/10/2009 4:00pm|554.09|-0.07%|-0.40|2393191|557.89|551.20
2. Also define the option.
For example:
http://www.sunnyspeed.com/stock/api/?s=GOOG&o=price
will return
553.69
